In this application, a classic pick-and-place scenario was presented in combination with a conveyor belt. The 2-axis Delta robot reaches for the components on the conveyor belt at the specified intervals with the 2-finger vacuum gripper and sorts them into the metal box.
Such monotonous tasks are often still performed by employees in a shift system and can represent a heavy workload. With an easy-to-implement automation solution like the one in this application, employees are relieved and the investment pays for itself in just a few months.
